ABOUT ISABEL

Isabel is a self-taught embroidery artist based in Singapore. Isabel Lim Designs started during her university years. It was a platform for her to showcase her growth in embroidery skills to her friends. By God's grace, it has now grown into her full-time business.

Isabel dabbled with many different art forms, but she never quite found an art form she was passionate about, until she tried embroidery. Today, she creates a wide variety of bespoke embroidered gifts for her clients. She also teaches embroidery to encourage others to slow down with embroidery in this fast-paced society.

Nobody had expected that Isabel would pursue embroidery full-time after completing her degree in History from the National University of Singapore, not even Isabel herself. However, she believes that God is moulding her through this journey of craft and entrepreneurship. As Isabel likes to say, "I am not my own boss. God is my boss".
